Viper School Gear – Witcher 3 Quest

This guide is a walkthrough of a side quest in the Witcher 3 for the area of White Orchard. The guide is composed of a map, map legend, and walkthrough to show readers exactly where to go and what to do to complete the quest.

You’ll trigger this scavenger hunt when you loot one of the schematics for the Viper School swords.

Walkthrough

Each schematic will have a document with it. Between the two, you’ll learn that a witcher named Kolgrim gained possession of the two schematics, but that he was accused of kidnapping before he could turn them in. The schematics were then lost when Kolgrim chose to defend himself using a Trial by Ordeal and set out to cleanse the Verrieres Family Crypt.

You’ll find the schematics in two places:

• Viper Steel Sword. You’ll find this at the ruins east of White Orchard (#1). You’ll have to defeat some deserters to get to it. It will have an Interrogation Report with it.
  
• Viper Silver Sword. You’ll find this in the Verrieres Family Crypt to the north of White Orchard (#2). You’ll have to defeat a wraith to get to it. It will have a Letter from Witcher Kolgrim of the Viper School with it.

Picking up the two schematics will complete the scavenger hunt.
