Unlucky's Treasure - Witcher 3 Quest

1 – Archgriffin / Nest / Corpse / Treasure Chest

Background

On Snidhall Isle in The Skellige Isles Northwest, you’ll encounter a level 48 archgriffin (#1). The best strategy for this battle is to cast Quen, then fight the archgriffin until you lose your shield, and then dodge around until you can cast Quen again and repeat the process. Slowly but surely you should be able to wear the archgriffin down without taking any damage.

After defeating the archgriffin, when you examine its nest you’ll discover a corpse holding A Frustrated Warrior’s Notes and a Skullhead Key. Reading the notes will trigger the quest.

Walkthrough

The note will mention that the archgriffin built its nest where the warrior had hid his treasure. You’ll find the warrior’s treasure chest slightly to the northeast. The Skullhead Key will unlock it. Looting the random items inside the chest will complete the quest.
