The Incident at White Orchard – Witcher 3 Quest

Walkthrough

When you return to Vesemir in the White Orchard inn to tell him about Yennefer, you might notice that the place is full “bandits” (aka locals still loyal to Temeria). Soon enough the bandits will turn hostile, and you’ll have to defeat them. This should be a very easy battle, as the bandits will go down in about one hit each. Defeating the bandits will earn you 300 xp.

Killing the locals won’t make you very popular in White Orchard, but luckily when you leave the inn, you’ll run into Yennefer and her Nilfgaardian escort. Yennefer will tell you that you’ve been invited to speak to Emperor Emhyr var Emreis in Vizima. Vesemir will decide to head in the other direction and return to Kaer Morhen. This conversation will net you 150 xp.

However, while you’re on your way to Vizima, you’ll get attacked by the Wild Hunt. The Nilfgaardian escort won’t fare very well, but you and Yennefer will get away.
