Shortcut – Witcher 3 Quest

This guide is a walkthrough of a side quest in the Witcher 3 on the Skellige Isles. The guide is composed of a map, map legend, and walkthrough to show readers exactly where to go and what to do to complete the quest.

Background

At a Hidden Treasure site on Undvik in The Skellige Isles Southwest, you’ll encounter three bandits next to a boat (#1). After defeating the bandits, when you loot the bag in the boat, you’ll find a Torn Piece of Paper. Reading the paper will trigger the quest.

Walkthrough

The paper will indicate that a man threw a treasure chest into the nearby lake. When you dive down into it, you’ll spot the chest to the southwest (#2). Inside the chest, you’ll find a leveled version of the steel sword Bloed Aedd plus a few random items. Looting the chest will complete the quest.
