Not Only Eagles Dare – Witcher 3 Quest

This guide is a walkthrough of a side quest in the Witcher 3 on the Skellige Isles. The guide is composed of a map, map legend, and walkthrough to show readers exactly where to go and what to do to complete the quest.

1 – Small Island / Corpse / Treasure

Background

On a small island southeast of Spikeroog in The Skellige Isles Northwest (#1), you’ll discover a corpse holding a Note and a Key with Ring Attached. Reading the Note will trigger the quest.

Walkthrough

The Note will indicate that there’s a treasure chest being marked by a “crooked mast.” If you look at the small boat next to the corpse, then you’ll see that it has a crooked mast, meaning that the chest is nearby. If you then turn on your witcher senses, you’ll spot the chest to the southeast. The key from the corpse will unlock it, and you’ll find some random items inside. Looting the chest will complete the quest.

Note: You might also notice a corpse in the water nearby, but it’s a part of the quest Possession.
