No Place Like Home – Witcher 3 Quest

You’ll automatically trigger this quest once you’ve completed the quests Disturbance, The Final Trial, and To Bait a Forktail.

Walkthrough

After completing Yennefer’s tasks, when you return to Kaer Morhen you’ll find Uma, Yennefer and the other witchers waiting for you inside. As soon as you arrive, Vesemir will announce that he has an idea for a “less invasive” way to cure Uma’s curse, and then the two of them will leave for the night.

This will give you a free night with nothing to do. If you’re interested, you and the other witchers can get drunk, swap some stories, play Never Ever, play gwent (but only for crowns), and dress up as sorceresses (with you in Yennefer’s Dress) so you can use Yennefer’s megascope. These activities will play out as extended cut scenes, and they won’t have any effect on the rest of the game, so you can participate in them or not as you see fit.

Note: If you’ve been romancing Yennefer, then you’ll also get a chance to have sex with her.

Another Note: If you have to track down Eskel, then you’ll find him outside the keep sleeping with Lil’ Bleater (who you might remember from the quest To Bait a Forktail). This interlude will earn you 500 xp.

The quest will end when you wake up in the morning.
