Hey, You Wanna Look at My Stuff? – Witcher 3 Quest

Background

A halfling merchant in Novigrad (#1) will offer you “the deal of a lifetime” — on goods left behind by mages who have been burned at the stake. However, before he can show you his wares, he’ll scamper off to avoid a trio of witch hunters. The witch hunters will then ask you about the halfling. If you answer truthfully, then they’ll run off to catch him, and you’ll never see him again. But if you cover for the halfling, then you’ll trigger this quest. Either way, you’ll also earn 10 xp.

Walkthough

To locate the halfling, you’ll need to turn on your witcher senses. You’ll immediately spot a broken bottle, and when you follow its scent, you’ll find the halfling to the west (#2). He’ll have alchemy ingredients, books, and glyphs for sale, and he’ll give you a discount on them. You’ll also earn 25 xp.
