Fists of Fury: Skellige – Witcher 3 Quest

This guide is a walkthrough of a side quest of the Witcher 3 on Skellige. The guide is composed of a map, map legend, and walkthrough to show readers exactly where to go and what to do to complete the quest.

Background

You’ll trigger this quest by reading the note “Fist Fights” on the notice board in Kaer Trolde in Ard Skellig (#1).

Walkthrough

You’ll have to win four boxing matches for this quest. For each one, you’ll have to talk to a nearby fightmaster or bookie, who will start the fight. The four opponents are:

• Valgard (Kaer Trolde). Just before the fight starts, Valgard will come up to you and ask you to lose so he can impress his lady love Eryka. If you do this for Valgard, then you won’t receive a reward, but it won’t hurt you, either. You can just fight Valgard a second time to defeat him. When you beat Valgard, you’ll receive the diagram for The Digger, 70 crowns, and 25 xp.
  
• Grim (Arinbjorn, Ard Skellig, #2). When you beat him, you’ll receive 70 crowns and 25 xp.
  
• Einar (Harviken, Faroe, #3). When you beat him, you’ll receive the diagram for Nilfgaardian Guardsman Armor, 70 crowns, and 25 xp.
  
• Olaf (Arena northeast of Urialla Harbor, An Skellige, #4). He’s the champion — not to mention a bear — so he’ll only become available after you’ve won the first three fights. When you beat Olaf, you’ll receive a leveled version of the steel sword Gwestog, 90 crowns, and 50 xp.
