Background

At a cottage in Toussaint North (#1), you’ll get attacked by a trio of level 37 rotfiends. After defeating them, you’ll discover a corpse next to the cottage. It’ll be holding Augustin Tonnelliay’s Journal and a Key to Chest in Sunflower Fields. Reading the journal will trigger the quest.

Walkthrough

From the journal, you’ll learn that Tonnelliay had been dealing with a shady character, and that he had hidden his ill-gotten gains in a chest in the sunflower fields next to the Vermentino Vineyard. When you head over to the fields (#2), you’ll find the chest beneath two sunflower plants. If you have trouble locating it, then just turn on your witcher senses to make it glow red. Inside the chest, you’ll find around 100 Florens.
