Bitter Harvest - Witcher 3 Quest

1 – Albin Hart

Background

You’ll receive this quest from Albin Hart in Velen North (#1).

Walkthrough

Hart will tell you that he and his men are looting the corpses on the battlefield, and he’ll ask you to protect them from “corpse eaters” while they work. If you agree, then you’ll have to defend against ten level 7 ghouls, one level 8 rotfiend, and one level 9 ghoul. They’ll attack in four waves. For the best reward, you’ll only need to keep Hart alive, so stay by him. Then the ghouls will attack you rather than him.

If you manage to keep Hart alive, then you’ll receive 70 crowns and 50 xp when you talk to him afterwards. But if Hart dies, then you’ll only receive 15 crowns and 50 xp. If all of the scavengers die, then you’ll fail the quest (but you’ll still receive the lesser reward).

Note: the ghouls will always come from the south.
