Battle Preparations – Witcher 3 Quest

This guide is a walkthrough of a main quest of the Witcher 3 endgame. The guide is composed of a map, map legend, and walkthrough to show readers exactly where to go and what to do to complete the quest.

Walkthrough

For this quest you’ll need to head over to the Novigrad docks and meet with your allies on board Avallach’s ship. When you’re ready to go, you’ll set sail for the Skellige Isles, where you’ll decide that two things still remain to be done. You’ll need to find the Sunstone (covered in the quest The Sunstone), and you’ll need to free Fringilla from the Emperor’s custody (covered in the quest Veni Vidi Vigo). While you’re doing these things, you’ll also learn that Avallac’h has a secret laboratory in the area, and you’ll decide to investigate it (in Child of the Elder Blood).

Once you’ve completed the three tasks listed above, when you return to Avallac’h, you’ll complete the quest and set sail for Undvik.
