Around the World in… Eight Days – Witcher 3: Blood and Wine Quest

This guide is a walkthrough of a side quest in the Witcher 3: Blood and Wine DLC. The guide is composed of a map, map legend, and walkthrough to show readers exactly where to go and what to do to complete the quest.

Background

At a bandit camp in Toussaint North (#1), you’ll encounter a few level 44 bandits. After defeating them, you’ll discover a chest containing an Unfinished Report and a Key to Travel Chest. Reading the report will trigger the quest.

Walkthrough

From the report, you’ll learn that the bandits were pretending to help a man trying to travel around the world in 80 days, but that when they attacked him, his supply-laden cart ended up in the lake to the east. When you head in that direction, you’ll first come to the corpse of the traveler, complete with his Journal from a Journey Around the World, and then you’ll find his cart at the edge of the lake (#2). There’ll be two more level 44 bandits at the cart, but once they’re out of the way, you’ll be able to loot the supplies, including some crafting materials, Blinders of the Five Chivalric Virtues, and over 250 Florens.
