An Unpaid Debt – Witcher 3 Quest

This guide is a walkthrough of a side quest in the Witcher 3 on the Skellige Isles. The guide is composed of a map, map legend, and walkthrough to show readers exactly where to go and what to do to complete the quest.

Background

You’ll receive this quest from Simun Brambling outside the New Port inn in Kaer Trolde in Ard Skellig (#1), provided that you made a deal with him during the quest Stranger in a Strange Land.

Walkthrough

Simun will ask you to meet him at a hut to the west of Blandare (#2). When you get there, you’ll find him arguing with a man named Volund. Simun will then announce that you’re to kill Volund as payment for your debt. You’ll have two ways to respond:

• You can decline. This will cause Simun to attack you, Volund, and Volund’s warrior bodyguard. Afterwards, Volund will mention that Simun has a cousin who might seek revenge, but nothing will come of it.
  
• You can do as you’re told. This will cause Volund and Volund’s warrior bodyguard to attack you and Simun. Afterwards, Simun will let you know that your debt is paid.

Either way, you’ll earn 50 xp for completing the quest.
