Suspect: Thorak – Witcher 2 Quest

This guide helps players with a specific quest of chapter 2 for Iorveth’s side in The Witcher 2. It has a map, legend, and walkthrough to show you exactly how to complete the quest.

Background

During the quest Royal Blood, you’ll have to gather evidence which will help you judge Stennis. This quest is automatically received if you talk to the dwarves right in the thick of the conflict in the town hall (#1).

Walkthrough

Talking to dwarf reveals that Saskia had a special chalice ordered, but apparently if it contained poison it must have been swapped. To pursue this clue, you’ll need to find another runesmith, Thorak, capable of reproducing the item with the right schematics.

If Thorak (#2) is still alive (you didn’t kill him in Baltimore’s Nightmare), he’ll deny making it and you can’t progress with this quest yet. You should therefore conclude Baltimore’s Nightmare first.

If you’ve finished it, then you must have found Thorak’s key on him during the mentioned quest. Then simply go to his house at #2 and loot the small chest near his bed. You’ll receive Olcan’s receipt and therefore conclude that Thorak’s had a hand in it.

The quest ends with 1000 experience points.
