Mystic River (Ch. 2 Iorveth) – Witcher 2 Quest

1 – Shipwreck

Background

As noted in the first act, there are said to be more shipwrecks in the Pontar Valley, other than the one near Flotsam. You can salvage the one near Vergen once you’re allowed to go out of the city (after The War Council is completed).

Walkthrough

Even though it’s visible on the map, you won’t be able to reach this area until you complete around 95% of this act, as you find the item that starts the quest during the last main quest. Looting the chest at (#1) will give you the journal of Eyla Tarn, and you’ll also loot some other items (Vran Armor Enhancement) needed for the quest of the same name (Mystic River) in Act III. The quest is also automatically completed once you loot the chest.
