Background

During your investigation in the quest Little Sisters, you’ll stumble upon Malget’s notes in the house’s basement. They are completely illegible to a non-trained eye, therefore you should look for a high skilled magician to decipher the code.

Walkthrough

As you uncover the secrets of Malget, you’ll find his magical notes in the lower cellar (#1).

The only person who can help you with them is Dethmold, over at the king’s camp (#2). Inquiring him about the notes will reveal that they are apparently a manuscript for a dangerous necromantic ritual. As such, he’ll offer to buy them at a price of 200 orens.

The money definitely isn’t worth it though, so your best bet is to hold onto them and wait Act III. If you keep them for the next act, where they’ll prove to be much more useful than the other solution.
