Amazing Dragon Sculpture Reminds Me Of Skyrim

Last night, I came across an amazing dragon sculpture that reminds me of Skyrim.

Every year, Lake Superior College holds its annual Art Show, exhibiting the creative works of its exceptional students. Like all good schools, LSC is a fixture in our community, and I’ve had the privilege of attending the show the last few years.

Amazing Dragon Sculpture

At this year’s show, amid all the brilliant paintings, jewelry, and ceramics, I came across an amazing dragon sculpture that immediately caught my attention. Now I can’t say for certain that Josh Lenard, the student artist who created this wonderful piece, was inspired by my favorite video game, but I’d like to think that he was.

Regardless, Lenard’s work spoke to me on a personal level (being the gaming/sci-fi/fantasy geek that I am). I really enjoyed the artist’s attention to detail in forming the mouth and scales, and how the entire piece seems to be in fierce motion — just like my all-time favorite Skyrim painting, the epic Dragonborn by John Gallagher. Very well done, or should I say: Fus Ro Dah!
