The latest entry in the SteamWorld series unified only in its vibrant steampunk art style, SteamWorld Heist invites us to organize and pull off a series of daring heists fueled by a unique free-aiming and ricochet-based combat system.

Despite its primitive visuals, Magical Stars Pillars is a very much enjoyable platformer inspired by the best classics. If you're at all interested in platformers, you should give it a shot, especially considering that the game's free demo is extremely generous with its levels.

Artfully combining the very much addictive bubble shooter gameplay with some light RPG elements, LightSlinger Heroes is the rare mobile game capable of sucking you in even if you're someone who ordinarily isn't too fond of mobile games.

An intriguing turn-based RPG where you have to ascend a tower to save the world while the doomsday clock is nipping at your heels, Lost Dimension also spices things up by introducing randomly-generated traitors to your team, making your ascent that much more exciting and uncertain.

An Uncharted spinoff that refuses to shake things up when it comes to the actual gameplay, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy does feature a fun standalone story and a couple of protagonists with great chemistry, making it a nice addition to the treasure-hunting series.

If the idea of drifting in a speedy car while becoming one with the universe excites you, then Absolute Drift: Zen Edition, with its abstract visuals, varied challenges, and plenty of unlockable cars, is the game for you.

A wave-based VR shooter with a threadbare story, Time Carnage is exactly the game you imagine while reading its title – you travel through time to fight hordes of diverse enemies while using a varied arsenal of weapons.

A decent entry in the narrative RPG genre, Ash of Gods: Redemption may look like a Banner Saga clone, but it actually has plenty of fresh ideas that make it its own thing.

A worthy sequel, SteamWorld Dig 2 gives us a new character to play as, but also provides enough connections to the first game to feel like a part of a bigger picture. It also treats us to improved visuals and greater gameplay variety, which is always welcome.
