Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden PC Review

A game of turn-based tactics combined with real-time stealth sections in a quirky post-apocalyptic setting, Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden may not be the best at anything it does, but at least it has something for everyone.

From the former Hitman lead devs and art designers of Payday. The developers at The Bearded Ladies, bring us Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden. A Turn-Based Tactical shooter where you play as a team of mutants in a Post-apocalyptic world, where you must scavenge to survive and grow your team throughout the way. Adventure through deep dark cities and rugged swamps to survive another day.

The world is setting a course for the end of its existence. After extreme climate change, global economic crisis, a lethal pandemic, and increasing tension between each world power. Nuclear weapons become rearmed since 1945. Once the bombs dropped, wind sweeps through empty streets, the forest turned into graveyards, and the start of a new world was born.

After the war, Nature began to encroach upon the desolated cities, and a new form of life was born. Once nature arrogated the world, ghouls and mutants were born. You play as a squad of mutant beasts. A boar and a duck. Your task is to discover the human stalkers that set out of home base, the ark. You’ll need to explore around to find food and supplies to keep the last outpost for the human race running.

During your tactical adventure, you will explore about to discovery supplies, salvage scraps to construct new weapons, and find brand-new survivors to join your squad. Search the apocalypse regions close to you, to determine the myths that the elders say await. Legends say there may be an end game for all the disaster upon earth, called the Eden of legends, the ancients. Although it just comes from tales, it could just hold all the answers we demand to save humanity.

While on your Adventure, you will witness yourself in different survival situations to spare yourself and your squad by near death. Mutant Year Zero, has the top of the line Tactical Combat system, to confront whatever foes that stand in your way.

While the graphics and auditory sensation features in this game are spot on, you may discovery yourself modifying a few of the control settings to experience more of an advantage when it comes to camera movement. Think about each and everyone of your actions to win the battle situations you will encounter. Command your squad of mutants to unlock additional skills and abilities to aid when facing up against the more grievous foes that roam around, the darker ruined cities.

At the final stage of your adventures away from the Ark, seek through the loot you have accumulated on enemy takedowns and looting nearby bushes. Savor your environment with the attention to detail these developers have put into each stage of the world. With avid ambient sound, you are able to place yourself in the shoes of the characters on your adventures around the world.

Master your skills for each mutant to bring down higher leveled ghouls that roam the adjacent areas. Depart to explore the whole region around you, what’s left behind of it at least, to examine each and everyone of the marvelous combat situations that are set to give you just another great experience. Shoot down whatever endures before you and find what your ancestors could not.
