Version 1.51J Patch Notes (Test)

Sanya has made the v1.51J test patch notes available on Camelot Herald. Once more, they’re pretty short, so here’s a full rip:

    NEW THINGS AND BUG FIXES

    – Cloud and trap spells should show damage values now when you delve them.

    – Previously, if you zoned with a constitution buff on your character, you would “lose” the amount of bonus hit points granted to your character, which would then regenerate normally over time. This has been fixed so that your hit points (and any other bonus attained from a stat buff) will remain when you zone.

    SPELL SYSTEM NOTES

    – Resurrection Illness should now have a proper “skull” icon.

    – Increased casting time on Minstrel Comforting Lullaby to 5 seconds to give realm enemies a chance to stop them when they come out of stealth.

    – Paladins should now get Earth Ward at level 30 as intended.

    – The new ground target spells should no longer print that they are taking effect on “The nothing”.

    – Redistributed the new Spiritmaster PB AE line to fix a spell overwrite bug. The new levels are:

    8 Soul Dissipation
    14 Soul Dispersal
    20 Soul Blast
    26 Soul Explosion
    34 Soul Banish
    41 Soul Destruction
    49 Soul Annihilation

    – DOT damage has been normalized once again. The values for DOTs have been changed back to the current live settings – but the additions of stacking for Sorcerer/Cabalist/Wizards have been reatined. The casting-stat bonus has been retained as well, but has been tuned to give the correct bonus damage. The end result is that now all spellcasters casting a DOT spell will see a 0-35% bonus to their damage, based on their prime casting stat. To clarify a point of
confusion, AE DoTs and spec DoTs in the same list do not stack. Higher damage DoTs will always overwrite lower damage versions in the same line.
