Vampire: Bloodlines v2.1 Unofficial Patch Released

A new unofficial patch has been released for Troika’s Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines, this time bringing the RPG up to version 2.1. Once again, this latest patch requires the official v1.2 patch to be previously installed. The fixes:

– Moved occult items from warrens and Tseng’s to be rewards of Mr. Ox.

– Made everybody lose a humanity point on sending Milligan to Pisha.

– Swapped damage of Desert Eagle / Colt Anaconda and SPAS-15 / Ithaca.

– Moved one Tawni quest camera into the kitchen to fit Imalia’s text.

– Made letting Julius go free for money end up with humanity balanced.

– Lessened damage for frenzy check and corrected shown armor ratings.

– Added a line so you can give the CD to Tung if you already found it.

– Made CDC guys leave later and Chunk not send you up again at times.

– Stealing charity money will not cost humanity if you know its usage.

– Made vendors sell SWAT rifle bullets and lowered price of fire axe.

– Created new braid icon and placed the cut chewing gum in Ramen shop.

– Corrected typos, mapname LA to downtown and subtitles to fit speech.

– Removed npctemplate* files, delete those if found in /vdata/system.

– Renamed Sabbat Thug speaker name to Thug and a few Trips to Vandals.

– Redid lost changes to Wong Ho dialogue about the silver haired man.

– Made Giovanni guard at the rear entrance of the mansion speak again.

– After giving Ash the bloodpack it will be gone from your inventory.

– Fixed Damsel recognizing Malkavians and Romero offering them pimpin.

– Repaired more problems in Hitman quest and added a new quest state.

– Added plague bearer quest log hint and allowed sewer-warrens detour.

– The morgue computer will now mention Crumb only after he is around.

– Restored sounds for the Ra blade and made killing Lu loose humanity.

– Fixed dialogues asking Flynn about Castity and Wong Ho about glaze.

– Made Dane cop acknowledge quest and repaired sending Patty to Pisha.

– Added a line for Skelter and deleted a tutorial answer for Ventrue.

– Replaced wrong use-icons in Venture Tower and lower Giovanni levels.

– Fixed Strauss dialogue about Gargoyle weakness and one quest state.

– Plugged Ash introduction hole and Therese knowing ghost item riddle.

– Restored a broken Vandal line and conditioned a response for Nines.

– Fixed telling Damsel of the alliance and corrected feed loading tip.

– Deleted icons of unopenable doors at Lotus Blossom and Luckee Star.

– Fixed Mitnick’s reward and corrected text on three inventory models.

– Modified discipline options for Kerri and removed a line with Knox.

– Changed Ji’s superhero and Johnny’s asshole lines to reflect gender.

– Removed asking taxi to drive to Mercurios at the end if he is dead.

– Deleted imperfect threat to LaCroix and fixed three wrong XP titles.

– Added conditions to Beckett’s Assyrian dialogue and removed a loop.
