Vampire: Bloodlines Reviews

We can chalk up two more positive reviews for Activision and Troika’s Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines. The first is over at Advanced-Gamer with an overall score of 8.7/10:

Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines is a solid RPG title that offers a lengthy story mode that has plenty of replayability potential. With hundreds of different conversations, a variety of different ways in which you can complete missions depending upon the kindred you choose and a very moody, appropriate atmosphere provides for some compelling and interesting gameplay to be enjoyed. Bloodlines is the best vampiric RPG titles to ever be released, and is recommend to all vampire and RPG fans.

And the second is at Jolt Online Gaming with an overall score of 8.2/10:

As a whole, Bloodlines is, even with its faults, a very high quality product. The game world is well presented, and is immersive to the degree that you could easily lose yourself in it for hours at a time and not even notice. This is helped along by the superb voice acting and music, and the fact that it simply oozes vampire mythology and everything cool that it stands for from every pore. If you do opt to purchase Bloodlines, you’ll definitely have to take the rough with the smooth not every mission is up to the high quality set by the best on offer but we’ve already implied that we’re not going to dwell on the fact that with six more months in development, it could have potentially rivalled HL2 in terms of quality. Instead we’re left with a still very good game that will prove to be a satisfying purchase for fans of vampires, or simply anyone bored by dull traditional Japanese-style RPGs.
