Vampire: Bloodlines Review

Romanian website Computer Games has posted a five-page review of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines, giving the CRPG an overall score of 75/100. Their final paragraph:

There aren’t enough words to describe my disappointment regarding Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. I honestly can’t understand how Activision could release such a poorly optimized and unfinished game on the market. Setting the release date on the 16th of November, at the same time with Half-Life 2, is another marketing decision I will probably never understand. However, these decisions don’t matter too much for us, gamers. What matters is the quality of the game, and in this regard, Bloodlines is a big (if not huge) letdown. Depends on how much you’re willing to forgive. If you can get past the terrible performance, annoying loading screens, poor cutscenes and a huge assortment of bugs, you can give Bloodlines a try. And maybe, if you’re lucky enough, you will catch a glimpse of what the game should have been like.
