UGO’s Top Eleven Upcoming Online Games

Underground Online recently posted their article on the Top Eleven Upcoming Online Games, where Shadowbane placed an fourth overall–just ahead of the number five ranked Asheron’s Call 2! Here is a clip from the article:

Yes, city building is the main focus of Shadowbane, and players will be able to form guilds and build cities to act as a base of operations. Players will actually be choosing how to design their city, place their merchants and barracks, erect their walls, and this will all take place live on the game server. Within a month of the game’s release, a once-barren desert could turn into a thriving metropolis with no influence from the developers whatsoever. Player vs. Player battles will not be over experience gained or lost, but over property. Lose to an enemy guild, and they might rally to take your city. It’s certainly an interesting dynamic.
