Trials of Mana Getting Full Remake for Early 2020

The Mana series is getting a brand-new injection of life, as Square Enix have revealed a full remake of Trials of Mana, complete with revamped action-RPG system, skill and levelling systems and modern 3D graphics. It’s due in 2020 and is being released on the PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam).

So, what is it? The Trials of Mana remake is going to be a fully high definition remake of the third entry in the Mana series, that had been previously released only in japan in 1995 under the different name of Seiken Densetsu 3. It tells the tales of six different heroes, fighting to protect their world against the monsters that have invaded their world.  Choose three of these six heroes, and the player will experience different stories.

If you still want more Mana stuff, then you’ll also be interested to know that Square have revealed that Collection of Mana is available digitally from the Nintendo eShop for around £40. For those who like a physical copy, on August 27th you can get your hands on one from participating retailers and the Square Enix Store.

The Collection of Mana includes the first three titles from the Mana series, Final fantasy Adventure, Secret of Mana and for the first time in the west a classic release of the original Trials of Mana. The compilation now includes a quick save feature, and depending on the game a 2-3 player multiplayer option.
