Train Valley 2 Wins Grand Prize at DevGAMM

Flazm, the indie developer behind many railway tycoon games, wins the gran prize at DevGAMM for new game: Train Valley 2. DevGAMM is one of the biggest video games conferences in Russia. The game was also nominated in two more categories, Best Desktop Game and Excellence in Games Design. And its not wonder. This game is a beautiful little tycoon game where you control the railroad network. It looks to be an intricate and yet fun game that tests your skill and challenges the mind. Watch the Early Access trailer for Train Valley 2 below.

Expand, build and create

Train Valley 2 has a lot going for it. It’s not wonder it won the grand prize at DevGAMM. If you are a lover of tycoon style games then you are sure to love this one. Following on from the success of their first game, Train Valley, this one is sure to be a hit. Essentially, you work your way through the industrial revolution all the way up to the modern day. Along the way, you must solve the management puzzles that come with building an intricate railroad system. The game promises to be engaging and addictive. I can see the appeal especially if the puzzles are done well and provide a suitable challenge for players.

Available on Early Access now

This game is still in Early Access which hopefully means there will be a lot of cool updates to the game. You can buy it now for about $9.99 (£7.15 approx.) and I think that’s a fair price for what you get. Even though it is still in early access. Not only does it incorporate fun and enticing gameplay, it has adorable graphics which are very fitting with the genre. It even has Steam Workshop access so you can build your very own valley! So, you can either create them for yourself or other players or download challenging maps from other creators.

This sound like your kind of game? Get it on Steam now. And, don’t forget to check out the DevGAMM website to see more details about the prize as well as the other category winners.

I've always had a passion for games and, since I found my passion for writing, I wanted to write about them. I'll play just about anything if I can get my hands on it. I have an unhealthy obsession with all things Star Wars and my motto is "Never apologise for being a nerd."
