Three More Star Wars: KotOR Reviews

Three new reviews of LucasArts and BioWare’s Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic have hit the web. The first is over at Game Rankings, where they’ve given the game an overall score of 97/100. A snippet:

If you are a fan of RPGs, you obviously need this game. More importantly, if you are one of the many Star Wars fans who feel the last truly great console title to bear the license was Super Return of the Jedi, then this may end up being more than just a great game to you it may turn out to be your own personal version of the second coming. A definite contender for Game of the Year.

Knights of the Old Republic is definitely an early contender for Game of the Year. It has delivered everything gamers ever wanted in a title from this franchise, but were denied for so long. Anyone who has ever wondered what it would be like to wield dual lightsabers against a Sith should waste no time in picking one up as soon as they can.

In my opinion this is the greatest RPG ever. The combination of the Star Wars franchise, the talent of BioWare and the infinite resources at LucasArts has created the perfect RPG. This game is a console seller. It will also turn casual RPG gamers (like myself) into fanatics. I love this game, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend that everyone I know purchase it. This is truly an amazing game that captures your imagination and makes you feel like part of the Star Wars universe.
