The Witcher 2 Patch 1.1 Delayed, 1.2 Likely Out Next Week

We reported yesterday that The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings patch 1.1, which has been stated to fix many issues people have been encountering, would release in the evening, but it actually hasn’t been released yet. The CD Projekt team commented on this on The Witcher official website:

The good news is that the patch is ready. The bad news is that we have encountered some problems with the server infrastructure, making downloading DLCs impossible. We want to apologize to our fans for not meeting our target of delivering the patch last night. We will update you when we know more.

Luckily it appears that the delay won’t be long and the good news is that, as an offhand comment on The Witcher’s official Twitter reveals, patch 1.2 is already in the works and is probably going to be out by next week:

G35 issue will be fixed in the patch 1.2 which is most likely coming next week.
