The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Patch Update

Bethesda’s Pete Hines stopped by the official Elder Scrolls forums to update a previous thread he had posted about an upcoming patch for Oblivion. In his update, he explains why the patch has taken longer than expected reveals that a beta patch will be released this week. Check it out:

Sorry for the delay but in trying to address everything and going back to cover a few things that came up late in the process, the fixing/testing cycle put us a couple weeks later than planned. The beta patch will be out this week for PC folks that want to try it/test it and — assuming nothing else comes up as folks play with that beta patch — the final PC patch and 360 update will be out a couple weeks later.

Todd and I wanted to give everyone an update on a number of things we have in the works.
