Textorcist Holy Typing Heading to Q1 2019

Throughout fiction there have been many ways of despatching the undead; fire, holy water, decapitation, typing. That’s right typing. The Textorcist, developed by Morbidware and published by Headup gives you the power, as a bad-ass exorcist to use your typing skills to vanquish the hellish threat.

Textorcist is a pleasantly-odd mix of a typing and bullet flying game. You play as Ray Bibbia, a private exorcist with a sinful past and the mission of ridding the world of all evil spirits. The city is in decay, streets are filled with criminals and Ray is the only man who can stop them and sending their unholy, or incorporeal asses back to hell. How do you do this? Simply by typing out holy scripture passages from his holy book.

In order to exorcise the evil properly, you have to make sure your typing is accurate down to the very last letter, as every mistake will set you back. As an added challenge you’ll also need to dodge the oncoming bullets from the spirits coming in, so type fast and accurately and dodge quickly and effectively. Simple right? Well, if you think so, you still might be thrown off by the texts in the latter part of the game that are written in Latin.
