Subaeria Release Date Announced with New Trailer

Montreal based studio IiLLOGIKA started off hiring people on a Work for Hire basis, but they’ve flourished and grown and are proud to be releasing their very first game Subaeria, celebrating this monumental event with a release trailer.

iLLOGIKA have worked on projects such as Hitman GO, Lara Croft GO, Cuphead and Disney Infinity action and it’s great to see their own project doing so well.

Here it is…

Subaeria follows the tale of Styx, a girl out for blood after her family is slaughtered by the Overlord of Subaeria. Standing between here and revenge are an army of murderous robots, and puzzles set to tax her to the limit. If she can solve the puzzles she will uncover the mysteries of Subaeria.

Subaeria combines platform and puzzle game mechanics, but throw in a number of rogue-like elements as well to keep things more interesting. The single player campaign encourages players to use logic and their own personal drone to cause the robots to kill each other. Of course the levels ramp up in difficulty the further you go, but there are always the ever-so-helpful power ups that can change everything.
