Spyro Reignited Trilogy Date and Screens Leaked

After months of speculation, rumours and sneaky hype-building, Spyro Reignited Trilogy has leaked. Per a store page on Amazon Mexico, the remastered collection is due on September 21st. A later posting on Amazon India also pointed toward a simultaneous Xbox One release. The three games in the package are Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage!, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon.

The box art featured on Amazon reveals Toys for Bob as the developer behind the rerelease, as opposed to N. Sane Trilogy developer Vicarious Visions. Toys for Bob have previously developed the Skylanders series.

Following the discovery of the Amazon listings, screenshots of the remasters were uncovered, and they look stunning. Compared to the original releases, the upgrade gives Spyro a painterly quality that really suits the fairytale design ethos.

At the time of writing, Activision and Toys for Bob haven’t acknowledged the leaks or confirmed any details.

All leaks were initially uncovered by Gamerstyle
