South Park: The Fractured but Whole Released

South Park: The Fractured but Whole, an RPG developed by Ubisoft San Francisco that tries to stick closely to the spirit of the show, is finally here. You can get it on Steam, or the game’s official website. The standard edition will set you back $59.99, while the Gold edition that contains the Season Pass will require another $30 on top of that. And if you’re not entirely sure what this spirit of the show is, you can check out the launch trailer and get a decent idea:

And here’s the official description:

From the creators of South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, comes South Park: The Fractured But Whole, a sequel to 2014’s award-winning South Park: The Stick of Truth. Players will once again assume the role of the New Kid and join South Park favorites Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman in a new hilarious and outrageous RPG adventure.

In South Park: The Fractured But Whole, players will delve into the crime-ridden underbelly of South Park with Coon and Friends. This dedicated group of crime fighters was formed by Eric Cartman whose superhero alter-ego, The Coon, is half man, half raccoon. As the New Kid, players will join Mysterion, Toolshed, Human Kite and a host of others to battle the forces of evil while Coon strives to make his team the most beloved superheroes in history.

Be advised that multiple users on Steam mention in their reviews that the game greets them with a black screen, while others experience poor performance. Critics, on the other hand, don’t seem to be having these issues, and you can check out their reviews right here.
