Soldiers of the Universe FPS Hits Steam

Rocwise Entertainments first game Soldiers of the Universe is now available to buy on Steam.  SotU is a first person shooter, inspired by Turkey’s ongoing war on terror in the Middle East, and has the distinction of being the first FPS game made in Turkey. It is this connection with real-world events that has given this game attention both locally and worldwide.

Soldiers of the Universe revolves around Hakan Kahrman. When Hakan’s father is killed, he takes his place in the secret military ‘Akinca Warriors’ as ‘the Toyga’ Driven by revenge he vows to fight against the states enemies using all his military training and expertise.

He can’t do this alone though, and needs help from other warriors fighting by his side. After meeting Mr. Barbarosa and the rest of the Akinci Warriors his life changes exponentially. But most importantly he’ll come to understand the meaning of the word patriotism, and how fighting for his country can help rid him of his own demons.

Rocwise Team says “We are very proud of our achievements with the development of Soldiers of The Universe. Through the early access period of our game, we worked closely with our community to further refine the game. With our latest update, we added 4 player co-op system and a new operation map to the game. We’re taking every little feedback into account and still working day and night to make the game better.

But, raising awareness to the terror problem in the Middle East and all around the world is our priority. We wish for a terror free world for all, and we want these topics to stay just as a video game.”
