SKALD: Against the Black Priory – Procedural Animation Sample

Scape-IT’s retro RPG SKALD: Against the Black Priory is notable, among other things, for its impressive use of pixel art. And according to this Twitter announcement, the game’s developer has managed to put together a tool that can easily turn the game’s static images into neat little animations.

By the looks of it, this new tool will make the game more dynamic while also serving as a cost-saving feature.
