PUBG Mobile 10 Million Users and Update News

If you’ve not heard of playerUnknowns Battlegrounds Mobile or PUBG Mobile for short, then you’re clearly not one of it’s current 10 million daily active players. Not only has the player-base reached fantastic heights but they’re also celebrating a large update, that includes the highly anticipated rugged desert terrain map of Miramar.

PUBG MOBILE is based on playerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, the original PC and Xbox One phenomenon that took the world of interactive entertainment by storm in 2017. Up to 100 players parachute on to a remote 8×8 km island to fight in a winner-takes-all showdown. Players must find and scavenge their own weapons, vehicles and supplies, and defeat every player in a visually and tactically rich battleground that forces players into a shrinking play zone.

It’s even grabbed itself a few award nominations as well. Having been nominated for “Best Breakthrough Hit” and “Best Community Building Game” at the 2018 Google Play Awards.

So, now there’s Miramar to add to PUBG’s Mobile map list. Miramar is a rugged desert with expansive cities perfect for battles the size of PUBG battles.  However, a new map is not the only thing that’s included with this update. You also get new in-game features that allow you to work with your teammates more effectively and cooperatively, including…

  • New Weapons and Vehicles – Miramar’s addition comes with several new weapons and vehicles
  • New Social Features – Added local quick team feature: enter a 6-digit code to team up with nearby friends
  • Increased Optimization – Improvements have been made to in-game sounds, climbing, parachuting and special effects

If you want to give PUBG Mobile a go, it’s available to download for free on the App Store and Google Play. There’s no better time to jump in with all those 10 million other players and see just why it’s grabbing those nominations.
