PoR Technical Help

For those of you who are still having trouble getting Pool of Radiance to work correctly, Ubi-Soft has updated its solution center with several common problems, as well as possible fixes for each one. For example, here’s a fix for any of you who might have corrupted savegames:

Move the “savedgames” folder from the Pool of Radiance directory then delete the “roster” folder.

Start a new game and make 4 new characters with the same names. As soon as the first combat with the two orcs ends, save the new game.

Exit the game and go into the Pool of Radiance directory again and delete the “savedgames” directory, but leave the roster folder alone.

Then move the old “savedgames” folder back into the Pool of Radiance directory.

Restart the game and attempt to load up your old saved game.
