Ni-Oh Delayed to 2017

According to a report from Eurogamer, whose writer had the chance to watch Sony’s Tokyo Game Show media briefing, Tecmo Koei’s PlayStation 4 exclusive action-RPG Ni-Oh has been delayed to February 9, 2017. Previously, the game was supposed to come out this year.

Personally, I thought the two demos released so far showed great promise for the game as an action title, though I’m not quite sure if I feel the RPG systems necessarily enhance the gameplay.

That said, I simply didn’t have enough time to really sink my teeth into the game. There’s still quite a lot of tuning and bugfixing to do, so I’m just going to wait until the game’s release to form a concrete opinion on that matter.
