HomeLAN has conducted an interview with Mythic Entertainment’s Matt Firor, talking about the upcoming expansion to Dark Age of Camelot, Shrouded Isles. A snippet to follow:

Q: There are many directions that Mythic Entertainment could have taken with their first commercial expansion for Dark Age of Camelot. What were some of the ideas that were tossed around for the expansion?

A: The most obvious was to add another entire Realm. However, we felt that this would add too much complexity to the game – coming up with an entire realm’s worth of classes and skills would have throw too much of a curve at the current game. Besides, we like the three-sided conflict we have now; adding another may upset the balance.
