Mass Effect: Andromeda Senior Development Director Leaves

Chris Wynn, one of the leads listed in this 2014 blog post that presented Mass Effect: Andromeda’s team, has decided to leave BioWare and return to the United States. The decision was announced with a tweet on his personal account:

It is with a heavy heart today to say that I am moving on from BioWare and Mass Effect: Andromeda, and returning to the USA.

Wynn was a Senior Development Director on the title and had joined BioWare to work on it back in 2013, leaving the Gears of War franchise behind after contributing on titles such as Gears of War 3 and Gears of War: Judgment.

Since the news of Wynn’s departure broke out, BioWare released a statement to GameInformer noting that Wynn was a “great member” of Mass Effect: Andromeda’s development team and thanking him for his contributions. “Development of Mass Effect Andromeda continues to move full speed ahead”, they reassure us.

Thanks, GameInformer.
