Lovecraft’s Untold Stories Hitting Consoles

It’s been available on Steam for a few months now, but from tomorrow (May 10^th) the action RPG roguelite game, inspired by HP Lovecraft and developed by Blini Games will be hitting xBox One, PS4 and the Nintendo Switch. In the Lovecraftian world, you’ll find all sorts of myths and monsters, and challenges that will test your very sanity.

Lovecraft’s Untold Stories let’s you experience first-hand the dark and cosmic horror created by HP Lovecraft. You’ll investigate dark and foreboding locations, from a creepy Victorian Mansion and an old abandoned hospital filled with failed experiments, or jungles filled with dark tribal rituals. The levels not only depend on your character, but are also randomly generated ensuring a different playthrough experience every time.

There are five characters, and therefore five different ways to play, and five storylines to uncover. There’s the private detective, a witch, a thief, a professor, and even a ghoul. Every character has their own stats, weapons and combat moves providing you with five completely different playthrough experiences.

• The Detective is your balanced character with average health and stamina
• The Professor is ranged combat with lower health but a special shield offered by his weapon
• The Witch, is the glass cannon, high fire and ice damage but very low health
• The Thief, stealth plus melee combat
• The Ghoul has high damage, high health and can regenerate his health, but he is unable to use medkits

Insanity lurks around every corner and every decision you make can have devastating effects on your own mind. As you investigate, there are situations where your decisions can lead to the unhinging of your own mind. In order to face The Old Ones, you need knowledge and you can only find that by exploring. Those who go mad under the influence of the Mythos, kill themselves to escape the torment. Though, a mind is resilient and can recover.
