Lionheart Q&A

RPGVault has conducted a one-question Q&A with several members of the Lionheart development team – including Ion Hardie, Eric Dallaire, Ernie Ramirez, Lars Brubaker, Dan Ruskin, and Bryce Baker. Here’s a taste:

RPGVault: Aside from weapons, what are a couple of items available in Lionheart that you consider especially cool or fun to use, and why?

Ian Hardie: “Dragon Scales” armor is pretty cool, as it gives you a resistance to fire damage and also has a chance of giving the damage right back to the enemy that attacked you. Wound Constricting armor is also very useful, as it closes up wounds for you a short while after combat, making surviving what comes around the next corner a lot easier. It’s really cool when the random generator gives you both of these on the same piece of armor. Yahoo!

I also really like the some of the random powers that get thrown onto various items in the game. Many of the necklaces and amulets can get some cool radial effects like “Lava Burn” that damage all enemies that get within melee range of you, or “Evader”, which allows the character to avoid more blows during combat.
