Lionhead Studios About To Be Acquired?

MCV is reporting that Lionhead Studios, Peter Molyneux’s game development studio currently working on Fable, may be acquired by another publisher in the near future. By who? Here’s a snip:

The news was yet to be confirmed at the time of press, but the Guildford studio has been linked with the likes of Activision, Microsoft and Eidos. The latter has denied a swoop, leaving the two US publishers – who both boast strong relationships with Lionhead – as frontrunners.
