Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning Sells 1.2 Million Copies in Three Months

According to a tweet by 38 Studios chairman and founder Curt Schilling, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning has outperformed Electronic Arts’ expectations by selling 1.2 million copies in 3 months, although it’s not clear whether he’s mentioning shipped copies or sold-through (I’d expect the first).

Reckoning, 38 Studios first game, has outperformed EA’s projections by selling 1.2mm copies in its first 90 days

These encouraging sales seem to be the only good news for 38 Studios as of late, going by recent reports, with the future of their Kingdoms of Amalur MMO, codenamed “Project Copernicus”, still very much up in the air as of now.
