Kingdom Come: Deliverance Podcast Interview

The folks at RPGFan have published a circa 20-minute long audio interview with Warhorse Studios PR manager Tobias Stolz-Zwilling and technical designer Martin Ziegler. As one might expect, the interview focuses on the studio’s upcoming Kingdom Come: Deliverance, an open-world action-RPG set in 15th century Central Bohemia that was partially funded via Kickstarter.

During the course of the interview, the developers discuss various aspects of the game, such as the reasons for the team’s decision to go for a realistic setting, the design and branching opportunities provided by the game’s quests, the world simulation, AI and NPC schedules, the progression in terms of items and skills, their unique approach to first-person tactical melee combat, and how and how often large scale battles such as siege will happen in the final game.

Needless to say, if you’re interested in the title this a very valuable source of info and a higly recommended listen.
