    BOSTON, MA May 15, 2002 Irrational Games announces the release of their new editing tool for the tactical RPG, (Freedom Force.) (FFEdit) is a powerful tool designed to facilitate the customization of almost every aspect of the game. To complement the release, Irrational has launched a new site, www.modforce.com, geared specifically toward the needs of the mod community.

    With FFEdit, the user may customize missions and campaigns; create custom characters, enemies, and levels; and integrate new objects, sounds, and visual effects. Irrational has also provided documentation that explains the customization processes in detail. They have gone to great lengths to see that the community can customize (Freedom Force) in a user-friendly environment.
