Once again, J.E. Sawyer of Black Isle has updated the Icewind Dale: Heart of Winter Developer Diary at GameSpy with two pages of current expansion goodness. Want an excerpt? Here ya go:

We are finally approaching the sacred time of “Feature Lock.” On this fateful day, we stop implementing new features and focus all of our efforts on play-testing and balance issues. Luckily, the gibbons in QA have been doing a good job finding the major bugs. While I’m gone, John Deiley and Steve Bokkes have been kind enough to fix balance issues encountered in my areas on the Burial Isle. Every time they send me a bug, I send their e-mail addresses to adult Websites. It works out pretty well.
