Grimoire: Heralds of the Winged Exemplar v1.2.0.27 Patch Available

Golden Era Games’ recently released dungeon-crawling RPG Grimoire: Heralds of the Winged Exemplar has received a new maintenance patch. It addresses a few of the game’s issues and serves as a stepping stone for the upcoming 1.2.0.30 update that should finally add the manual to the the game, which, according to Cleve Blakemore, is “almost done.” Here are the patch notes, along with a couple of Cleve’s comments:

+Maintenance release prior to 1.2.0.30 accompanied by manual.

• Emergency fix to starting skill sets for newly created characters
• Enchanted Blade spell enables non-magical weapons to hit magical creatures
• Little Rosy toned down a little when recruited into party
• SHOWMAP function in NPC scripts fixed so NPCS can mark maps
• Adjustments made to some learning rates for skills

Some combat and academic skills were to set high learning points, they were trimmed back a little to make advancement happen sooner from using them successfully.

Been working fairly regularly each day on the manual despite other concerns here. Almost done, just some more details to add.
