Going Rogue, Double Kick Heroes Update Released

The guys and gals behind Battle Princess Madelyn and NAIRI: Tower of Shirin, namely Headbang Club and Hound Picked Games have revealed details on the latest Early Access update to Double Kick Heroes, Going Rogue. If that wasn’t enough the Double Kick Heroes OST Volume 2 has also been revealed, and the developers have been adding more tracks.

If you’re not sure what this is all about then check out the trailer here….

So yeah, Double Kick heroes is a rhythm game with a great metal soundtrack. Lead your band through a post-apocalyptic world. Destroy zombies with your Gundillac and use the awesome power of metal.

So what is in this update?

Auto-steering now allows players to focus on playing those rifts and lets the computer do all the moving. If you fancy a more relaxed experience, Chill Mode allows you to experience the game, with all the furious metal power but none of those pesky zombies getting in the way.

If you’re looking something that’s a little faster and more furious you can give the survival mode known as Fury Road a try. Keep wading through endless waves of zombies. There’s also now the “daily fury” that allows for modification of Sheila, and your weapons, gain perks and loop the game.

“We’re really excited to share with you the new tracks featured in the Double Kick Heroes OST Vol 2!” David Elahee – Headbang Club “We have the incredible “Demon Demon” by the Fundamental Wisdom of Chaos, “Prepare to Meet Thy Doom” by the legendary Elmobo and more!”

The Update Includes

  • Added Chill Mode
  • Added Fury Road
  • Daily Fury
  • Added Partition Speed option
  • Added Auto Steering
  • Release full OST Volume 2 on Steam, Itch and soon on YouTube.
  • Fixes and more optimizing stuff.
  • Added Chapter 6 regular beta Access.

Double Kick Heroes, Going Rogue is out now in Early Access on Steam. Double Kick Heroes will be coming to Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One later this year.
