Geneforge 2: Infestation Kickstarter Campaign Incoming

When Jeff Vogel teased a new Spiderweb Software remaster earlier this month, it was fairly obvious that he was talking about the second entry in the Geneforge series. But it’s always nice to be sure. And for that, we now have this Twitter announcement officially revealing Geneforge 2: Infestation.

The Kickstarter campaign for this project should be going live soon, promising improved visuals, an overhaul of the game’s melee and missile systems, and a few bits of fresh content. And should the campaign hit some of its planned stretch goals, Infestation will also be getting a series of new missions and monsters.
